Mike Chandler uses all of his 25 years experience in the Hereford region, to take viewers on some of the fantastic walks in the region. Some of the most beautiful walking is to be found in the Golden Valley, on the peaceful and unspoilt River Dore, just east of the Black Mountains. Nearby the walk takes in a small orchard next to the pretty St. Michaels church, as well as a fascinating earthworks.
Mike has worked as a postman for Royal Mail for more than 25 years, and has been awarded a First Class Hero award for his fundraising efforts for Breast Cancer Care. Mike is currently in training for his ninth London Marathon and over the years has raised a staggering £196,000 taking part in various events.
