Omani International, Ali Abdullah Al Habsi, has just put pen to paper and firmed up his position as Wigan’s number one between the sticks. His journey to the Latics has taken him via Oslo, where he was voted Norwegian Keeper of the year, and local rivals Bolton. But after securing Barclays Premier League survival under Roberto Martinez, the Middle Eastern shot stopper will be staying put in the North West of Britain.
