Arran in the Square

'Arran in the Square', which took place in May 2011, saw the Scottish island's famous produce brought to George Square in the heart of Glasgow city centre.
Visitors had plenty of opportunity to sample Arran's amazing variety of food and drink - from traditional dairy ice cream to single malt whisky, oatcakes, cheeses, mustards to fabulous fresh salads and herbs, and not forgetting its award-winning real ale.
Visitors also got some inspiration on how to make the most of Arran's fine produce with demonstrations from the celebrity chefs, and the chance to win a trip to the beautiful island destination.
'Arran in the Square', which was run by Taste of Arran was one of the final events in Scotland's Year of Food and Drink.
